하이트진로는 다들 아시죠. 술과 음료 만드는 회사입니다. 진로와 맥주 등을 만들죠. 맥주는 해외맥주와의 경쟁이 치열합니다. 다만 소주는 거의 뭐 한국내에서는 압도적이죠. 그리고 해외 사람들도 소주 은근히 좋아한다고 합니다. 소주 판매량은 엄청나게 많다고해요. 그럼 하이트진로의 주가는 어떨까요.
(You all know Hite Jinro. It's a company that makes alcohol and drinks. They make a course, beer, and so on. Beer is fiercely competitive with foreign beer. But soju is pretty much overwhelming in Korea. And I heard that foreigners like soju, too. I heard that the sales of soju are huge. So what about Hite Jinro's stock price.)

꽤 심각하네요. 그냥 바닥이 어디냐 하고 계속 들어가고 있습니다. 미국주식은 그래도 우상향하는 추세가 강한데요. 한국주식들은 뭐.. 왜이러나 싶을 정도입니다. 누구는 한국주식하고 누구는 미국주식해서 시간이 지나고 수익률 비교를 해본다면 차이가 많이 날 것 같아요. 고점대비 약 58%하락한 19,410원에 주식이 거래되고 있습니다.
(It's pretty serious. I just keep going in, wondering where the floor is. U.S. stocks are still on a strong upward trend. Korean stocks are.. I wonder why. I think there will be a big difference if we compare returns over time because some people are Korean stocks and others are American stocks. The stock is trading at 19,410 won, down 58% from its high.)

하이트진로의 매출액입니다. 2020년 12월 22,563억원, 2021년 12월 22,029억원, 2022년 12월 24,976억원의 매출액이 발생하고 있습니다. 매출은 그래도 상승하고 있습니다. 사람들 소주 진짜 많이 마시잖아요.
(This is Hite Jinro's sales. Sales of 225.63 billion won in December 2020, 220.29 billion won in December 2021, and 2497.6 billion won in December 2022. Sales are still rising. People drink a lot of soju.)
하이트진로의 영업이익입니다. 2020년 12월 1,985억원, 2021년 12월 1,741억원, 2022년 12월 1,173억원의 영업이익이 나오고 있습니다. 영업이익은 매해 떨어집니다. 수익성이 점점 더 안좋아진다는건데요. 영업이익이 이렇게 하락하면 주가가 오를 수가 없죠.
(This is Hite Jinro's operating profit. Operating profit of KRW 198.5 billion in December 2020, KRW 174.1 billion in December 2021, and KRW 117.3 billion in December 2022. Operating profit falls every year. I mean, it's getting worse and less profitability. If operating profit falls like this, the stock price cannot go up.)
하이트진로의 배당금입니다.

2020년 12월 750원, 2021년 12월 800원, 2022년 12월 950원의 배당금을 지급하고 있습니다. 영업이익이 매해 떨어지는데 또 배당금은 매해 올려주고 있습니다. 신기하네요. 주주들에게는 좋은 일이기도 하지만요.
(It is paying dividends of KRW 750 in December 2020, KRW 800 in December 2021, and KRW 950 in December 2022. Operating profit falls every year, and dividends are raised every year. It's amazing. It's a good thing for shareholders.)
일단 한국내에서 주류 산업으로는 압도적인 점유율이고 신규투자도 많이 없을테니 무조건 주주환원을 잘하는가를 봐야합니다. 주류회사인데 영업이익이 이렇게 낮게나오는건 아쉽긴합니다.
(First of all, it is an overwhelming share of the liquor industry in Korea and there will be not much new investment, so we need to see if we are good at returning shareholders. It's a liquor company, but it's a shame that its operating profit is this low.)
